This blend of organic seasonal quality tea was originally created for afternoon Tea at The Empress. The Assam component (2nd flush June production) gives a thick, malty and full-bodied character; the Kenya (Nandi region, January production) and Tanzania (Usambara region, January production) components give floral-like flavor and a golden coppery infusion; the South Indian component (Nilgiri mountains, January production) gives superb fruity and sprightly flavour with a lovely finish; the Ceylon (Dimbula region, January production) gives an airy, almost piquant, flavor that opens the blend; and the China (Anhui province, April production) gives a burgundy depth with light oaky notes. Truly one of the world's great teas! Gluten free.
Pair with any of our Luxe sugars to add a little sweet with a little extra to spice it up. Salted Caramel, Vanilla or Rose will add a rich flavor. Any of the fruit or citrus flavors will give this tea fruity burst.

It’s got a punch lacking in other teas. People spend a ton of money on coffee. I like tea and feel that this one is special enough to pay more for. Comes in sealed bags which keeps it good for a good amount of time.
This is such a great tea to have every morning. It's comforting, flavorful, and I get many cups out of the same tea bag. I also tried making iced tea with it and it turned out delicious, a nice floral twist on an unsweet iced tea.
This is the best black tea I have ever had. I drink several cups a day.
One of my favorites after having high tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria B.C. Every afternoon I have a cup and it transports me back to that beautiful hotel!
