I bought this tea towel also as will go with her others that she was given after my mother passed. My mother would invite her for afternoon tea at different times of the year. Through the years I had bought her fancy tea cups with matching saucers.
We had the most wonderful luck to visit England twice. The first visit was out in the country side where we found a China shop. Her smiles didn't stop the whole afternoon. We had items shipped back to the States. Even though I didn't drink tea I enjoyed watching her prepare the table for her sister's visit.
I asked her to choose whatever items she wanted or even if wanted all. She choose some and then asked if remaining could be donated for a silent auction to benefit a local charity. The variety listed at the shop I assure you would have found their way to my mother's collection.
They are perfect tea towels forany occasion. They take me back to tea time at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, Canada.
This is a beautiful Tea Towel. I purchased it as a gift to remember our trip to Victoria BC and having Tea at The Empress with three generations of family.
Very classic. Am pleased. Enjoy displaying dish towels and changing seasonally.
