I wanted to get my sister a souvenir from the Fairmont Empress. We had already purchased a bottle of the 1908 purple gin, and thought a nice cocktail glass would go nicely with it. I selected this Collins glass, as really the only other selections available were whisky glasses. The price was very reasonable too. The gift shop at the Empress was closed when I went to purchase the glass, so I ordered it from the online store once we got home. It arrived quickly and in one piece (I'm always a little leery when it comes to shipping anything glass-). Although it was slightly smaller than I thought (probably didn't read the volume spec), the glass is quite beautiful and elegant. Very classy. I know she will enjoy having her 1908 gin cocktail in this glass! I'm very happy with my purchase. Now, on to the pillows!! :-)
